Shobukan Martial Arts will be hosting the annual Kayo Cup. Consisting of a training camp and competition at the Ern Halliday Recreational Camp facilities in Hillarys.
The Training camp will be held on Saturday 14 October and the competition on Sunday 15 October 2023.
The training camp and is available for 8 years above and Adults, & the competition is available from 6 years above and Adults.
Saturday 14th October – 3 x Training sessions
Sunday 15th October August – Kayo Cup Competition.
Camp Schedule – Saturday 14 October (8 years + & Adults)
- Introduction / registration: 9.00am – 9.30 am
- Training Session 1: 9.30am – 10.30 am
- Morning Tea: 10.30am – 11.00am (Bring your own)
- Training Session 2: 11.00am – 12.00pm
- Lunch : 12.00pm – 12.30pm (Provided)
- Training Session 3: 12.30pm – 1.30pm
- Games & Activities : 1.30pm – 2.00pm
Kayo Cup Competition – Sunday 15 October (6 years + & Adults)
- Competition: 9.00pm – 4.00pm
- Students may compete in individual age Kata (forms) and/or Kumite (sparring).
- Team categories for Kata and Kumite are also available
- State Team members and members who have medaled in WA elite categories will be exempt from the Competition
